Our Lunch/Dinner Menu

Once considered the poor man's meat, mussels are now sometimes referred to as 'black gold' given to the high demand. At the Monk we serve around 300 kilo’s a week and all cooked using our own secret mussel herbs. Starter portions are served with a baguette only; mains are served with baguette, fries & mayo. All mussel dishes contain onions.

The Belgian Monk is proud to support Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals Charity. 50p of every portion of mussels will go to buying two specially adapted wheelchairs for those with muscular disease.

Starter / Main

Tartiflette was first mentioned in the 1705 book; Le Cuisinier Royal et Bourgeois. A hearty dish of potatoes, Reblochon cheese, onions and cream. A Belgian Monk favourite for over 20 years.

All served with fresh crusty baguette.
